Qpod Tech is actively sourcing for a senior SAP Basis & Azure Architect for a full-time, long-term contract role. This is a 100% remote opportunity operating on an IST shift schedule (8 hours/day).
For senior professionals with over 10 years of experience, this role offers the chance to lead critical infrastructure transformations, oversee complex cloud migrations, and design High Availability/Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) solutions for massive enterprise landscapes. (Note: Standard PF deductions are applicable for this contract role).
Understanding the Role: What Does an SAP Basis & Azure Architect Do? At the architect level, this role moves beyond daily administration and focuses on high-level system design, cloud strategy, and landscape optimization. You will be the definitive subject matter expert for running SAP workloads on Azure.
Your core responsibilities will revolve around:
- Cloud Migration & Architecture: Designing and executing the migration of on-premise SAP systems to Microsoft Azure, ensuring optimal architecture design (SAP on Azure).
- System Administration & Landscape Management: Overseeing end-to-end SAP System Administration, specifically focusing on SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA databases.
- Business Continuity: Architecting and testing robust High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) frameworks to ensure zero business disruption.
- Performance & Security: Conducting deep-dive performance tuning on both the SAP application layer and the Azure infrastructure layer, while implementing stringent security and monitoring protocols.

- Experience Level: 10+ Years of dedicated experience in SAP Basis and Cloud Architecture.
- Work Mode: 100% Remote (IST Shift, 8 Hours/Day).
- Core Technical Skills: SAP Basis & Basis Architecture, SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, Azure Cloud Infrastructure.
